For Cozy Mixer: Sleep Sounds (also known as Cozy Kids Mixer) · Last updated October 8, 2026
Cozy Mixer: Sleep Sounds (the “App”) is a gentle ambient sound mixer for kids and families, developed by Vinci Labs (“we”, “us”). We built the App to be calming and family‑friendly, and we designed it to collect as little information as possible. This policy explains what information is involved when you use the App and how it is handled.
The short version
- We don’t ask you to create an account, and the App doesn’t collect your name, email, or contact information.
- Your settings and mixes are stored on your device, not on our servers.
- The App shows ads through Google AdMob. Because the App is made for families, we request non‑personalized ads and enable child‑directed settings. The App does not track you across other apps or use the device advertising identifier for tracking, so there is no tracking‑permission prompt.
- Purchases are handled by Apple (on iPhone, iPad and Mac) or Google Play (on Android). We never see your payment details.
- We do not sell your personal information.
1. Information we collect
Information you provide
None is required. The App has no sign‑in and does not ask for personal details. Preferences such as your sound mix, volumes, and timer settings are saved locally on your device (using the standard app storage of iOS, macOS or Android) and are not transmitted to us.
Advertising (Google AdMob)
The App displays advertising provided by Google AdMob. Because the App is directed to families and children, we configure AdMob for child‑directed treatment, request only non‑personalized (contextual) ads, and cap ad content at a general audience rating. To serve these ads, detect invalid activity, and limit how often an ad is shown, Google may process limited technical information such as device type, coarse region derived from IP address, and ad‑interaction events. Non‑personalized ads are not based on a profile of the user’s past behavior. The App does not use the device’s advertising identifier (IDFA) for cross‑app tracking. For more detail, see Google’s Privacy & Terms and how Google uses information from AdMob.
Purchases (Apple)
If you buy the optional premium upgrade, the transaction is processed by Apple through the App Store using StoreKit. Apple handles your payment; we receive only whether a valid purchase or subscription is active so we can unlock features. See Apple’s Privacy Policy.
Purchases (Google Play)
On Android, the optional premium subscription is processed by Google through Google Play Billing. Google handles your payment; we receive only whether a valid subscription is active so we can unlock features. See Google’s Privacy Policy.
Casting and your local network
If you choose to cast audio to a Chromecast or other Cast‑enabled device, the App discovers compatible devices on your local Wi‑Fi network. This discovery stays on your local network and is used only to connect and stream. We do not receive your network information.
2. How information is used
- To provide and operate the App and remember your preferences on your device.
- To display non‑personalized ads and prevent fraud and abuse (via Google AdMob).
- To process optional purchases and unlock premium features (via Apple or Google Play).
- To enable casting to devices on your local network, when you request it.
- To comply with legal obligations.
3. How information is shared
We do not sell your personal information. Information is shared only with the service providers that make the App work — Google (advertising, and app distribution and purchases on Android) and Apple (app distribution and purchases on Apple devices) — as described above, and only as needed to provide their part of the service. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect rights and safety.
4. Children’s privacy
The App is intended to be suitable for children and families. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children, and we do not require any personal information to use the App. Advertising is configured as child‑directed and non‑personalized. Our practices are designed to be consistent with the U.S. Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and, where applicable, the “children’s” provisions of the EU/UK GDPR. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has provided us personal information, or you have any questions, please contact us and we will address it.
5. Your choices
- You can manage or cancel purchases and subscriptions in your Apple ID / App Store settings on Apple devices, or in Google Play (Payments & subscriptions) on Android.
- You can remove all locally‑stored preferences by deleting the App from your device.
- You may contact us with any privacy request or question using the details below.
6. Data retention
Preferences are kept on your device until you delete them or remove the App. Any data processed by Google or Apple is retained according to their respective policies.
7. International users
The App is available in several countries. Where information is processed by Google or Apple, it may be handled in accordance with their global infrastructure and privacy practices linked above.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
