The short version
- We don't collect any personal data. The app has no account, no sign-in and no analytics.
- Your game, best score and settings are stored only on your device.
- Ads come from Google AdMob. Google may collect some data to show them, as explained below, and you can change your ad choices at any time.
- If you subscribe to remove ads, Apple or Google handles the payment. We never see your payment details.
Who makes 2048 Memes
2048 Memes is developed by VINCI LABS (Jean Vinge), in Brazil. In this policy, "we" means VINCI LABS. If you have any question about privacy, email contato@vincilabs.com.br.
What the app keeps on your device
The app saves your current game, your best score and your settings (such as vibration and language) on your device. It doesn't send them to us or to anyone else.
There's no account and no sign-in. The app doesn't include any analytics SDK, and we don't collect personal data.
Ads
2048 Memes is free and shows ads from Google AdMob, through the Google Mobile Ads SDK: a banner below the board, and now and then a full-screen (interstitial) ad between games.
To show ads, measure them and prevent fraud, Google may collect:
- Device identifiers. On iOS, this includes the advertising identifier (IDFA), but only if you allow tracking when Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt asks. On Android, it includes the Android advertising ID.
- Your IP address, and a rough location worked out from it.
- How you interact with ads, plus diagnostic and performance data.
Google handles this data under its own policies. See how Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and the Google Privacy Policy.
Purchases
If you subscribe to Remove ads, the purchase is handled entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We never see your name, your payment details or your account. The app only asks the store whether your subscription is active, and remembers the answer on your device so the ads stay off. While the subscription is active, the app doesn't load any ads, so the Google Mobile Ads SDK collects nothing for ads. See the terms of use for how the subscription works.
Consent and your choices
Where the law requires it (in the European Economic Area, the UK, Switzerland and US states with privacy laws), the app uses Google's User Messaging Platform to ask for your consent, or to let you opt out, depending on the rules where you live.
You can change your choice at any time in the app: open Settings and tap Ad privacy choices.
On iOS, you can also turn off tracking in the Settings app, under Privacy & Security › Tracking. On Android, you can reset or delete your advertising ID in your phone's settings, usually under Privacy › Ads, or Google › Ads.
Children
2048 Memes is not directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone, children included.
Keeping and deleting data
Everything the app stores stays on your device until you delete it. Uninstalling the app deletes all of it, and we don't keep a copy anywhere.
Data that Google collects for ads is kept according to the Google Privacy Policy, which also explains how you can control it.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll post the new version on this page and update the effective date at the top. If a change affects what data is collected or how it's used, we'll also mention it in the release notes of the app update.
This version is effective as of .
